Here's What other Teams Have
to Say
This email note was
forwarded to us
from a Fort Wayne, Indiana parent after playing United's U-9 Boys in the Northern Kentucky
Challenge Cup:
"I wanted to commend
the coaches from Citadel and Owensboro United
teams--we ended the tournament in a tie! After
3 OTs and still NO one scoring, the coaches
decided to end as co-champs! What a great idea! Both
teams tried so hard and deserved to win! Thanks
coaches for doing what was right for the boys! "
And from the President
of the Northern Kentucky United Soccer Club came this:
"I heard this story first from the Pendery Park
site coordinator. Needless to say, this act of
caring and concern for the kids really impressed us
all. This is a wonderful example of how positive
soccer can be for the kids when the adults act as
adults and put the kid's interests above all else."
